Locations
Config.Start is keyed by the location name shown in the menu.
Each location can include an NPC shop, rod master, fishing zones, boat rental, fish pool, and shop inventory.
Use { x, y, z, heading } for NPC coordinates.
Adding a full location block automatically adds it to the menu.
Fishing zones
Zones use Bridge.Zones. A zone provider is always required.
| Field | Purpose |
|---|---|
name | Unique server validation identifier |
type | box, sphere, or poly |
coords | Zone centre |
size, rotation | Box zone settings |
radius | Sphere zone setting |
points, thickness | Polygon zone settings |
requiresBoat | Requires the player to fish from a boat |
fish | Limits the zone species pool |
Blip | Adds an optional map blip |
A zone without fish uses every species from its location.
Use zone-specific fish lists when a location mixes freshwater and saltwater fish.
Fish and weights
Each fish defines its item name, label, average price, rarity, required level, and description.
Optional weights use { min, max } in kilograms. Low weights are more common than trophy catches.
The configured price represents a fish at the weight midpoint.
The script prices each fish from its recorded catch weight. Fish without weight ranges use a flat price.
Fish can also require a time of day or weather type.
Rarities and draw weights
The default base draw weights are:
common: 50uncommon: 30rare: 14epic: 5legendary: 1
Rod luck and weather modifiers affect every rarity above common.
Rods and upgrades
Rods define durability, tier, label, level requirement, EXP requirement, and description.
Rod durability is tracked for each player and rod item.
Config.RodLevels defines upgrade costs, material requirements, pull strength, line tension, and rare luck.
Higher tiers also reduce bite time and increase sale multipliers.
Boat rental
Enable Config.Start[...].BoatRental for offshore access.
Configure the rental NPC, spawn point, deposit, return distance, and boats list.
The player pays the rental price plus deposit. Returning the boat refunds the deposit.
Disconnecting or restarting removes rented boats and forfeits their deposits.
Default rods
| Tier | Durability | Required level | Sale multiplier |
|---|---|---|---|
| Low | 50 | 1 | 1.00 |
| Medium | 75 | 2 | 1.10 |
| High | 100 | 4 | 1.25 |
| Expert | 150 | 6 | 1.50 |
| Legendary | 200 | 8 | 2.00 |
Rod levels add pull strength, tension reduction, and rare-luck bonuses.
Conditions on fish
Set timeOfDay to any, day, or night.
Set weather to a list of accepted weather names.
Conditions require Config.Conditions and a supported weather provider.
Pricing and records
Fish sell using their recorded weight. The newest unsold catches are matched first.
Any catch missing history uses the configured flat price.
The heaviest catch per species becomes the player's personal record.
Boat keys
Fishing supports qbx_vehiclekeys, qb-vehiclekeys, wasabi_carlock, cd_garage, and mk_vehiclekeys.
Add unsupported key systems in bridge/client/vehicle.lua.
